Meet The Author 

Lubbock, Texas author Michael Daniel or "Uncle Mike" as everyone calls him writes in his own unique style of rhyme and reason.  His first book "The Littledoobiddles & Doobetterdees" is currently in it's third printing.  The media has called Michael one of the best storytellers in Texas.  His presentations are always done with enthusiasm and pure excitement.  An authors day with "Uncle Mike" WON'T be your typical authors day.  He has appeared at over 5,000 schools and organizations around the US and Mexico.  As a matter of fact, he was guest author at the International Book Fair in Monterrey, Mexico.  Entertaining thousands of children and adults.

In my daily conversations with children, I am constantly amazed and inspired by their wisdom - an innocent wisdom that somewhere along the way many adults misplace.  I recently asked a group of children what they could do each day to be Doobetterdees.  One beautiful girl said, "Be nice."  An exuberant little boy shouted, "Help people!"  Wow!  Had these two wonderful children just solved all the world's problems?  Is it really that simple?  Every day, everyone in the whole world being nice and helping each other.  Well, I'm just a big kid, and kids always have hopes and dreams.
